Chris Meyer recently went to the San Francisco Bay Area to work with Nature Bridge and photographer David Liittschwager to explore all the organisms that live in a single cubic foot, a so-called Biocube, and share the experience with an amazing group of 6th graders.
Stay tuned for a great forthcoming video that shows the fun and all the amazing things students learned from slowing down and considering just how much biodiversity lives in a single cubic foot of pond.
See this Nature Bridge blog post and another post for more info.
Bay Nature also has a great article up about Finding Biodiversity in a Bucket.
