Dr. Rice,

I'm not sure if you will remember me, but Ii worked with you during the mid 70s as a representative for Zeiss. I have thought of you often and decided to try a search on the internet to see if you were still active in research.

I'm sure you didn't know how impactful meeting you was in my life. Of the thousands of customers that I dealt with, my contacts with you left the greatest impression of what a true scientist should be. You have left wonderful memories and I just thought you should know..

I hope that all is well with you and that you are enjoying your life in retirement. I have been retired for four years and living in South Carolina.

Please stay safe.

Best regards,
Dennis Snider
