Glad you like it! The fossil was found in limestone near Saint Petersburg, Russia – one of countless places around the world where rock (and fossils) that formed under ancient sea floors has been uplifted and now underpins dry land.

Thank you for taking the time to find and then share this Trilobite specimen. Amazing fossil, though it is a bit scarey looking. Was it actually found in water?
