Thanks for this write-up. Despite knowing Kitaibelia, I was not familiar with Kitaibel's contributions, till I went through this write-up.

I have never seen these 'Holz Bucher' or known about them. Are these available in other herbaria? Thank you for the excellent photo showing the inside of these wooden books including the cavities for scrolls.
